The number of Chinese snooker players banned by the world governing body during an investigation into alleged match-fixing has risen to ten.
Ten Chinese snooker players now banned
Former UK champion Zhao Xintong and Zhang Jiankang have joined the list of players suspended from the World Snooker Tour while an an investigation into alleged match-fixing takes place.
Zhao, who beat Luca Brecel to win the 2021 UK Championship title, and Zhang, the world No. 82, have been banned from attending or competing on the Tour with immediate effect.
Zhao, 25, was due to play four-time world champion Mark Selby in the first round of the Masters on Sunday.
Former Masters champion Yan Bingtao and seven other Chinese players have already been suspended by the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA).
