NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet would love to see more of his predecessor Gladys Berejiklian on the hustings, while school kids have lauded Labor’s Chris Minns.
Minns king of kids as Gladys pops up in marginal seat
Dominic Perrottet hopes to see more of Gladys Berejiklian in marginal seats after the former NSW premier made a surprise appearance to help out an old ally bidding for re-election.
The smiling senior Optus executive was captured in a selfie with former cabinet minister Stuart Ayres after dinner with the Penrith MP and his wife, senator Marise Payne, on Wednesday night.
Mr Ayres shared the image to Facebook as he battles to retain his lower house seat, which he holds on a margin of 0.6 per cent.
It comes days after Ms Berejiklian was notably absent from the Liberals’ campaign launch but Mr Perrottet denied he was snubbed.
