Police launch probe into 12 stolen puppies

Twelve puppies were allegedly stolen from a play pen in south east Queensland, sparking a police probe.

Police are appealing for public assistance after twelve puppies were stolen from a pet play pen in south east Queensland.

The kennel-mates of various breeds were snatched from a Pine Mountain address in Ipswich between 5.30pm on April 29 and 6am on April 30.

Investigators have so far recovered eleven puppies, all eight to nine weeks old, however, a male blue fawn staffy is still missing.

Two shoodles (shih-tsu -poodle cross) and two miniature fox terriers were found on April 30 at a Raceview address.

A further seven puppies including a king charles cavalier were found on Friday.

Anyone with information is being urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
